Gallery Hours
Thursday and Friday 11 - 5
Saturday 11 - 3
Join us the first Saturday of every month
6 to 9 p.m. for the
First Saturday Gallery Crawl!
Twist, opened in the summer of 2006 by art consultant Caroline Carlisle
and artist and curator Beth Gilmore, features an eclectic mix of local,
regional and national artists. In its short life, Twist is becoming known
for its art installations and boutique-style affordable art shopping in
the back room.

Joining the burgeoning creative community known as Art at the Arcade
in the historic Arcade building, Twist is a unique exhibition space that is
an exciting stop on the monthly “First Saturday Gallery Crawls.”
Routinely presenting independent Nashville musicians such as Bulb,
Julie Lee and Zen Lunatics, Twist is more than an art gallery, it is an art
experience.  It is convenient to restaurants, new downtown living and
teems of other downtown art galleries.

Mission

Founded in part to create an alternative to “one-night” art shows,
Twist is a place where emerging and established artists can exhibit
their work in a professional manner for longer periods of time creating
more opportunities for sales, commissions and exposure.

Shows change out monthly in the Main Gallery and work in the
Affordable Art & Apparel Boutique changes even more frequently. There
is always new work to see. So stop by often!

Twist partners with
Caroline Carlisle Consulting to provide additional
art services including corporate and residential art acquisitions,
placement, art installation and framing services.
